During the 2014–15 season, CSKA Moscow advanced to the Euroleague Final Four for the fourth straight season. In his second year with CSKA, the team was crowned champions of the VTB United League after sweeping Khimki in the final series. On June 17, 2015, Kyle signed a two-year extension with CSKA Moscow, but the accolades did not stop there. In 2016, Kyle picked up his third Euroleague championship and was named Euroleague Defensive Player of the Year.

With more trophies than most know what to do with, Kyle has remained refreshingly humble and an influential leader, on and off the court, and although he’s achieved what some only dream of, his ultimate goal is still largely underway – developing and educating student-athletes by providing unique opportunities and valuable exposure to colleges that ultimately lead to scholarships.

And thus, Team Hines Basketball Academy was born.

As a proud sponsor of Team Hines Basketball Academy, Kyle looks toward the future, utilizing his expertise to provide THBA members with the opportunity to travel and play against the best competition on the east coast while facilitating opportunities to seize scholarships in a higher-education setting. Kyle Hines may be “just a kid from Sicklerville,” but for the last decade (and counting), this kid from Sicklerville has made an undeniable mark on esteemed basketball organizations around the world.

Beginning his professional career with

Veroli Basket in Italy’s A2 league, Kyle won two division cups (2009 and 2010) and was named the MVP of the league (2009), a mere foreshadowing of his successes to come.

With Brose, Kyle won the German Cup and German League titles and was named Finals MVP and MVP of the German

League All-Star Game.

Bidding adieu to Germany, Kyle then took his talents to Olympiacos, a highly revered team in Athens, Greece, where he accomplished the ultimate goal in European basketball – seizing not only but two Euroleague championships, back to back, in 2012 and 2013.

All roads led Hines to his present team, the powerhouse organization known as CSKA Moscow, where Kyle has solidified himself as a not only a team leader but a legend among the organization and league. On June 28, 2013, Hines signed a two-year deal with CSKA Moscow

During Tyler’s offseason, he began prioritizing training young athletes and also taught the importance of making good life choices that foster a promising future.

Since high school, and well into his professional career, Tyler was relied upon to execute several important on-court roles, each showcasing his ability to make others better, and these specialized qualities have poured into his unparalleled ability to uplift the community and its respective youth leaders.

Tyler maintains an active leadership role within THBA and is proudly involved in various community affairs and philanthropic efforts. Tyler is the Vice President of Team Hines Basketball Academy, working closely with children ages five through 18 and awarding local scholar-athletes with funding toward their college careers. His focus remains on building a better, more prosperous future for the local youth, molding their physical skillset and mental strength to develop sound leaders of tomorrow. Based on experience, it is Tyler’s calling to help the youth in his area to not only become great athletes but to guide them to becoming even better people.
