MEET THE STAFF
Each coach is an integral piece of the Team Hines Basketball Academy and follows the six THBA principles to the fullest extent. All coaches are required to abide by these rules to continue to coach in this association. This Academy's coaches understand the magnitude of their role in developing young athletes, a role that spans beyond teaching game skills. Their leadership abilities, philosophies, and actions will leave impressions far more indelible than imagined, and thus, each coach works incredibly hard to set a strong example and lead each young athlete to develop their character, sportsmanship, and respect.

TYLER HINES
Vice President of Basketball Operations Clinic and Personal Training Instructor
Tyler Hines, Individual Instruction Specialist, former professional basketball player, and Division-I graduate, creates tailored training programs designed to help players reach their goals through specialized group and individual basketball instruction. Regardless of skill level, whether a professional athlete, All-American star, rising AAU player, or first-time hooper, Tyler trains each individual with purposeful, proven-to-win strategies, ensuring knowledge, deliberate training, on- and off-court support, and the tools he valued, sought, and maintained as a professional athlete. Tyler is passionate about enhancing individual and team skill sets, on and off the court, stating, “When you look at the bigger picture, basketball is really a game within a game. In knowing that, I aim to teach athletes to view on-court challenges as advantages to how they will approach the real world - winning, losing, and shortcomings mirror how to cope and deal with life's obstacles. This training is two-fold, and I take pride in knowing our trainees take away more than the game, but gain priceless life skills, too.”
